Britain in Bloom 50th Anniversary Bench
In the year that Shevington was invited to enter Britain in Bloom, we decided to commision a bespoke circular bench to celebrate its 50th Anniversary.
Funding was secured from national house builders Taylor Wimpey who have supported Shevington in Bloom in the past.
After many brainstorming sessions a design was ageed, and a consultation was undertaken in the area where the bench was to be installed.
The bench includes a planting area in the centre for a 100 year olive tree purchased for its character and form.
